Ken Rumbarger
I am a Christian. I established a life-saving, life-changing permanent relationship with Jesus Christ in October 1982. I have two bachelor's degrees: one from the University of Pennsylvania in Russian language and literature in 1978, and one from Spring Garden College in computer science in 1989.
I have worked as a technical writer, as a computer programmer, in the mortgage industry, and as a security guard. (I do what I need to do to keep paying my bills.) I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia in the southeastern corner of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the United States of America.
The most important belief that I have is this:
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
(II Timothy 3:16, KJV)
Shouldn't I have quoted (John 3:16) as my most important belief? If I don't believe that the Scriptures are God's Word, then what weight does (John 3:16) have?
